Joe Dirt

Kevin and I love to make fun of Mullets. I can't stop laughing when I see a person with one. I feel bad for those poor kids that I see every now and then where their parents have deliberately cut their kids hair into a mullet. We got lucky enough that our child naturally came with one!:)
Business in the front... PARTY IN THE BACK!!!:)

Difficult

Ok so... I have been experimenting with Scrapblog and it is soooo hard to figure out! It's that or I am mental! So I made two pages that took me probably about 5 hours to do. I have zero scrapbooking talent. I am going to post one of these just because I am proud that I actually figured out how to do it!!

Pals

Here is Cahlin's best friend in the whole world! His name is Mason he is Nolan and Lindsey's little boy. He will be 2 in June. They are such great friends! They can't wait to spend time together everyday! They have been friends for a year and they have always loved to spend time together! Actually they have a love/hate relationship but they are true boys because they get over their fight in about 5 seconds and they are back to playing again! We love having Mason around he is such a cute little boy and he always makes us laugh!

Posing

Here are couple new pictures of the boys. I tried to record a video of Cahlin singing some songs that he likes but he was very very distracted and none of them turned out any good. Next time I will have to bribe him to hold still with candy or something!:)
I really liked Cahlin's eyes in this picture.
Almost got the smile!
This is the best picture of Cahlin trying to hold still!!
Cahlin loves to kiss Eyan!

Tag...I'M it!!!

I was tagged by Amber!

Four jobs I have had:

1) Arctic Circle: I worked here all through High School. I was so embarrassed that my parents made me work there at first! But I got a lot of my friends to work there too! So it was like having a party every night after school! You can all guess what I did there. Nothing to demanding! Just filling peoples orders! Plus it was great I got free Ice Cream whenever I wanted!

2) Intel Representative: This was my first job after I moved to SLC. I was living with Jeff and Liz and they were the best!! They would drive me to work and come pick me up even though they were super busy! I was on out-bound calling and I loved it! I had my little pitch memorized so I would call people and tell them how to update their accounts and the whole time i would just mess around on the internet!

3) Gold's Gym Playroom: I worked here after I had Cahlin because it was a job and I could take my baby! It was great! I was so paranoid that he was going to get sick so I would clean every single thing that the kid touched! After a little while I was promoted to the manager of the playroom. It was fun but it is a lot of responsibility for not a whole lot in return. I found myself wrapped up in paperwork all day long and I never got to be with Cahlin. So it was like Cahlin was in daycare and that broke my heart. When Kevin started selling Alarms last summer and we had to move to Baltimore I quit working. It has been so nice to actually be able to have a true relationship with my kids!

Four movies I have watched more than once: I have this really bad habit of watching movies over and over and over again! I will watch a movie until I can't stand to watch it anymore. So the list is HUGE! Among my favorites to watch a lot are: Sweet Home Alabama, Step Up, Dirty Dancing Havana Nights, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.

Four Places I have lived:

1) Rigby, Idaho: I lived here up until I was 17. I loved growing up in a small town. It was always so much fun to know everyone that you passed on the streets!

2) Salt Lake City, Utah: I moved here after I graduated. Kevin and I got married and stayed in SLC. So we have lived here for 4 years off and on.

3) Baltimore Maryland: We lived here for 4 months last summer for work. I do not recommend Baltimore to anyone! I hated it there. It is very dirty and the people are SO MEAN! I was so happy when I got to leave!

4) Los Angeles, California: We lived here for about 2 months last fall for work also! We lived in Hollywood Hills! It was so much fun to drive down the streets and spot celebrities! It was also a lot of fun to drive up next to imported cars! I am not even going to try to spell any of the fancy car names! We got to go to the beach a lot and it was really nice to have 6 months of summer last year!

Four Places I have been:

1) Niagara Falls, New York

2) Mexican Riviera: ( Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta)

3) Disney World

4) Nauvoo, Illinois

Four people who email me regularly:

1) Katy Jones

2) Kevin's parents

3) Jeff and Liz

4) Spam!( They just love me!)

Four of my favorite foods:

1) Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

2) Cheesecake

3) Chicken Alfredo

4) Chocolate

Four places I would like to visit:

1) Italy: I have wanted to go here my whole life!

2) NYC: Yes I live right outside of it and I have yet to go there! I have lived here for a month! That's what happens when you have two kids!:)

3) Australia

4) Ephrata, Washington: It's where Kevin was born and his grandparents still live there. His mom is also buried there. I have been married to Kevin for 3 years and I haven't been there once!

Four things I am looking forward to in the coming year:

1) Breaking Dawn!!!!!:) ( Twilight book)

2) Twilight the movie!!:)

3) Buying a house.

4) Living in Idaho.

( Yes, I am a Twilight freak. And yes Those are in the right order! Man I need to get my priorities straight!!) :)

Four friends I am tagging!!

1) Lynette Gifford

2) Liz Hughes

3)Heather Antis

4)McKenzie Hegsted

I love you all!!! Have fun!:)

Jones Happenings

Well the Jones family had a pretty good weekend! Nothing to crazy happened but we had a good time. Kevin came home from work on Friday and packed the diaper bag and had the office girl come over to babysit Cahlin and we went to Made of Honor! It was such a cute movie! I really really enjoyed it! Then on Saturday he came home with roses! It was so sweet! Kevin is not big on getting flowers he would rather spend his money on other things so it was quite the surprise! Then we went to the mall for dinner and we got Kevin new shoes! Yesterday was our very first Sunday going to church as a family of 4! It was quite the experience! I think I might have sat through 20 minutes of each class! Between feeding Eyan and taking Cahlin to the bathroom every 1/2 hour that doesn't leave much time! Our ward was really friendly and we are very excited to be able to get to know the members! Oh and yes we are potty training Cahlin! So far it is going pretty great! He is catching on really well and I am so proud of him! Any time someone is at our house and he needs to go potty he makes them come into the bathroom to see what a big boy he is! We are going to have to kick that habit sometime soon!:) But it is cute to see him so proud of his accomplishments! That's all folks nothing more to report on! Our camera is acting funny so I don't have any new pictures but hopefully I can get Kevin to look at it soon! I hope this finds everyone doing well!!

Addicted

So I was sitting here in my little chair reading about everyones updates and updating my own blog when I looked at my sister in-laws page and she had this quiz to see how addicted to blogging you are! I was excited to see that she was pretty addicted! So I was curious to see how addicted I am! I am not suprised by the number I actually thought it would be higher! It was a lot of fun to admit that I really like my new little hobby!

Sharks

So I had a request from my sister in-law to preview my playdoh sharks! And I have nothing else to do all day long then entertain my sons so we decided to make some sharks yesterday for Aunt Lynette to see. I have no idea why we have to make sharks he just really likes them I think it is from watching Nemo. Now... I have never been known for my artistic side( I think you will all see why) :) and these sharks are very sad. But Cahlin knows they are sharks and he has a great imagination! Which he has to use a lot with these poor creations!Oh and the little sharks aren't sharks they are fish! :) Don't laugh to much ( my cats are way worse!) :)

Brothers

When Eyan was born my brother and his wife(Jeff and Liz) got the boys matching shirts but Eyan was way to small for his shirt so yesterday was the first day that he fit into it! So here are the boys in their Brother shirts!

OCD

Cahlin loves to line his things up. If he is playing with his cars he lines them up into a huge line and no one is allowed to move them. When we play with playdoh we have to make a ton of sharks and then line them up and look at them! Yesterday I went into Cahlin's room and all of his books were gone. I couldn't find them anywhere I finally found them in his dresser he had them sorted out into piles ...

Smiles

Eyan is smiling now! I am so excited! It is still really hard to catch a really good one on camera so I decided to record a video so that all of our family and friends far away could see how much he is growing and developing. He is now sleeping through the night consistently and he is starting to co and aw a lot more and he also tries to giggle. That one is a little tough though! He will be 2 months on Tuesday.

New Home

Well we did it! We packed all of our possessions and moved within 12 hours! It's true I am a miracle worker! Actually when all of your possessions can fit into the trunk of your car it doesn't take very long! :) We now live in Clifton, New Jersey and we are about 15 minutes away from Manhattan. If you look very close off of our porch you can actually see the buildings! The complex is really nice and I feel very safe here. I still haven't un-packed everything but here are a few pictures of our new home!

Moving......AGAIN!!!

We have finally gotten everything moved into our new apartment! I actually unpacked the last bags on Saturday. I was so excited that I finally had a clutter free house! Then Kevin informed me that we might have to move because this apartment complex doesn't have enough room for all the reps! He said we would have a week probably. So it has been a week today and we had been told that we were just going to stay here. Then Kevin calls me today and told me that we are moving today!! We have to be out by the morning! It's a good thing this place was furnished otherwise I would go really crazy! Just a few minutes ago I talked to Kevin and he told me that we are going to move everything out tonight! So he tightened the dead line again! And I just barely received a text message saying that we might stay here a little longer! I am over half way done packing!!!!! I think I am going to be crazy by the end of the summer!

Boys

Cahlin wanted in on the action and we actually got a cute picture of them together! It is soo hard to get Cahlin looking at the camera and smiling AND getting Eyan's head in the right direction!!

Look A-likes 2

Here is another picture of just Eyan in a pose that we had Cahlin in. I think it really shows how much they looked alike when Cahlin was little too.

~GiRlZ NiGhT~

So since the men go out selling ALL day long and we get to stay home with the children. Which I am not complaining but some days I would like to pitch my two year old off the balcony. Actually it's more days then not lately! :) We moms decided we needed a night that was just ours. No children, no husbands ( course they always end up being there anyway:) ), no stress just the girls!! We get together and put the kids all down to sleep and then we paint our toe nails, eat chocolate and watch The Bachelor. It is alot of fun to just sit around gossiping about how we can't stand this girl or he doesn't deserve that girl or SHE DID WHAT?!?! :) You girls all now how it goes!! Anyway last night was girls night and I am really excited about my toes so here's what they look like! There's these awesome finger nail polishes where the brush is just tiny so you can do the French tip look and I LOVE IT!:) So I am a little bit addicted! Plus They sell have all different colors too! So it is now a project of mine to collect as many as I can! :) Don't tell Kevin :)

Look A-Likes?

Eyan is offically five weeks old! He is getting so big and so much fun! When Cahlin was five weeks old we had his pictures done. I wanted to see how much Cahlin and Eyan look alike so we took pictures of Eyan with the same poses. Plus a couple others because he was so cute!

About 20 minutes should do

Yesterday Cahlin and I were just hanging out during the afternoon. Eyan was fast asleep and Cahlin was playing and I was cutting up strawberries. I noticed that he had ventured into the laundry room so I went to check and see if he was folding the clothes:) and this is what I found...
