In March Makenna and Rebekah were baptized. It was a very special weekend and we had a great time with Kevin's family. The kids had lots of fun playing with cousins and we had fun playing with siblings! There were many great times from game playing to Wii dancing games... we won't mention/ show anyone but know that it was great... :)

SPIDERMAN!!!! For Halloween last year Cahlin was the Venom Spiderman and Eyan was Good Spiderman! They LOVE their Halloween costumes. They usually last all year long for great play and fun. On this particular day the boys had an especially great time wrestling being Spidermen! Here are their pictures of their efforts. It's fun that Eyan is big enough now to hold his own with Cahlin and sometimes Cahlin is the one that walks away crying... :) In the end though, they both end up friends.. :)

I can't remember what day but I know it was one day in Mart was Dr. Seuss's birthday!! Cahlin came home from Pre-school with a "cat in the hat" hat! He was very excited and didn't let that hat come off his head the whole rest of the day! At the store everyone commented that it was very cool. He was very proud of his work! :)

Relaxing after a long day at Church!

So tired! Eyan doesnt' take naps anymore, but every few days he will crash on the couch... I love it when they sleep they are so sweet looking! :)

Cahlin and Eyan have taken to wearing their pj's starting at like 4. They will just run upstairs and jump in them! So silly, so he is always in his pj's for pics! Crazy kid... so cute tho!

Kevin loves to take random pictures of me, I'm not really sure why he thinks this is so much fun. This is probably the only picture out of 50 that I liked a little bit... :)
Eyan is ALWAYS grumpy at Breakfast, we aren't really sure why, he wakes up on his own in the morning but by the time breakfast is ready he is a terror! Cahlin is such a good brother to be sitting that close to him at breakfast time!

Aren't they just cute!! I love how big Cahlin is getting! It's so cute to see him have fun time with Dad!

This kid is awesome. He's slowly getting better at getting rid of his cheesy smile... this one is a mix.. :)

We all made cookies one Sunday. They were peanut butter... :) yum! Kevin decided that instead of making out another 7-8 cookies he decided to make a GIANT cookie! It turned out rather well!! I was surprised! But the boys LOVED it! So much fun! It's so fun to be a kid!

Since I am so behind in blogging I've just decided to start fresh with February. I don' know why that's just what I'm doing!! :)

In February we got a new camera!! It takes amazing pictures and so we just have random little snap shots, Kevin thinks he's a photographer now so it's been fun to see all the pictures he's taken. We took a little outing one day to take some fun pics of the boys and here are some of them. They are getting so big!!

I am sitting here looking at my blog tonight thinking how sad it's become. How sad it is to me that I have let the little memories that my boys have made slip from my mind. I look at the mess of pictures that I have sitting in files on this computer and it makes me sad. I feel like I haven't been the greatest of moms as of lately. I feel like my eyes are opening for the first time in a while and I am realizing that I'm not cutting it as the mom that I want to be. I should try harder to be what they need me to be. I need to work harder at the little things that matter so much to them. Here are some more recent pics of them loving each other. These are my best moments in life. When they aren't at each others throats! Thanks for listening to me rant tonight. I must be in a mood! :)

Cahlin got to play t-ball this spring and summer! He did really great! The pitchers would try and give the kids a chance to hit the ball without the tee. He did pretty well! Al though he did start doing this strange sort of chopping action! He had fun. I will say tho that t-ball is kind of a boring sport for little kids... they just play in the dirt. :) But he had a good time and he learned about baseball! Love this kid!

Father's Day

So this post is being posted out of turn! BUT at least I'm posting it!! We had a great Father's Day for Kevin this year. He of course requested stake for his dinner, the boys had hot dogs... then for dessert we had his mom's strawberry pie! It was great! The boys and I got Kevin some new clothes for Father's Day. I can't remember this event very well... obviously I need to be better about posting things when they happen so I can remember! Happy Father's Day Daddy!! We love you!

It was a great day! The boys and I went up to my mom's house for my birthday. She got me a Dairy Queen ice cream cake! I LOVE their cakes! Plus, it was different from my usual cakes! :) My friend Ashley also got me a cheese cake! I LOVE cheesecake too!! I love the people in my life and am so thankful for everything they do for me and my family. I do have to admit.... 24 was a hard birthday for me. It just sounds so much older than 23... I don't know why! Anyway, thank you everyone for making it a special day and Happy birthday to me! :)

Warm River was SO MUCH FUN this year!! I think we really had a great time! The boys and I camped all by ourselves in our tent! I was very proud of myself for sleeping in a tent by myself without Kevin. Don't get me wrong I was pretty nervous but we lived. Although the last night we had a close encounter with some kind of animal digging around our tent.... I almost died. So, just for future reference... please don't make me sleep in a tent by myself with just my kids to help me defend myself... :) my heart may not live through the next time!
We enjoyed many trips down the river. Playing in the shallow water, using our water pistols, Playing with our great cousins, eating, telling stories around the campfire, getting eaten alive by misquotes, running, laughing, crying ... just to name a few fun things.. :)
We also had the GREAT privilege of seeing Smokey the Bear!!! Cahlin loved it. Eyan ... wasn't quiet as thrilled. We also got to attend a little meeting on Bear Safety. I found it very interesting and Cahlin loved learning what he needed to do to defend himself from bears... ;) The older kids also got to test out how to spray Bear Spray.. it was great fun, and very entertaining!
I have been going to Warm River since I was a small child and it's always been something that I hold close to my heart. I have very great memories of this place. It was fun to see all of my family again. I miss you all. I wish everyone could be closer and we could play all the time... but that would make it so when we are together it wouldn't be quiet as special. Thank you all for helping me when I needed it as I have two small children and only 2 hands!! We can't wait for next year!

2010 4th of July

This year the boys and I headed up to Idaho Falls for the 4th of July celebrations. It started out with a early morning at a 5k! I ran my very first race! And sadly I don't have any pictures! Grandma Jones has them all on her camera! But it was a great race and I was proud of myself for getting it done! Then we headed on over to the Idaho Falls Parade... it was a VERY chilly morning and everyone had a hard time being excited about it! Plus, for some reason the parade took forever to start and stay going!
After the parade we went back to the Desmond's for a BBQ and the annual Water Fight! We had a great time! I will forever say that no will ever beat Grandpa Jones at a water fight... don't even start it you won't win... ever... period.... :)
We then rested our poor little bodies for a while and then ventured out for the fireworks at the Green belt! Things got kinda mixed up and we all ended up getting separated... it was a stressful event for most of us but we eventually got it figured out and settled in for the show! It was great! The boys loved the fireworks. I love seeing the wonder and excitement that is in their eyes when they watch fireworks. It's just great!
Thanks to our friends the Hatch family for coming and spending the day with us! We had so much fun with you!!! We hope it was fun for you as well!

~Eclipse Premiere~

In July Kevin surprised me for my birthday and got me and my friend tickets to the Eclipse premiere!! I was SO excited! So, as you all know because I am a total Twilight crazy person we had to go out and get ourselves some cute little Eclipse t-shirts. Then we headed on out to the movie theater to stake out our spots on the grass! We had a great time eating, playing cards, getting rained on and laughing and the other crazy people all around us. The movie was GREAT!! My favorite one so far! All the actors are finally getting to be a bit better at their jobs! We didn't get home til very late in the morning but it was very much worth it! So, if I haven't mentioned it in the past I will now just so everyone is clear on how I stand.... I LOVE TWILIGHT!!! :) Thank you Kevin for being so thoughtful and sending me out to play.

Utah Jones Family Trip

The boys and I had the GREAT privilege of getting to go to Alan and Lynette’s baby boy’s blessing the first of May. We had a FANTASTIC time with the Jones family!! We had a great car ride with Grandpa Jones and then spent the first day with Jason and Katy at their fun new house. Then Grandma Jones came and picked us up to go down to Alan and Lynette’s in Tooele. We had a great time!! They made wonderful food and the company was just FABULOUS! Thanks to the Gifford's for putting up with us and sharing your wonderful family with us! Plus, it was a HUGE bonus that baby Sam is so adorable!!!

PS- I was very bad at taking pictures that weekend... these are the only ones that I have... :(

We had a great Easter Sunday!! The Easter Bunny got the boys kites, Frisbee, and the little balls that stick the the paddle... ( I don't know what they are called) and of course lots and lots of candy. :) The Easter bunny is one of my favorites because he always seems to have a very large sweet tooth... so therefore he is my best friend! Enjoy the pics! Also, I will load a video of the Easter Egg hunt that we had later that day at my Aunt Sara's house... it was to cold to have the hunt outside! The kids still had a great time!

I used to be such a blogging addict but not so much anymore. It's all I can do to get a post on here. But I'm trying for some reason tonight... it might be that I'm starting to feel guilty for not keeping up on my children's memories. sad day... anyway, I'll try and get as much done as I can tonight so be sure and check to see if there is more than one new post!! In March we went up to Bozeman for Eyan and Grandpa Jones birthday. It was a great weekend and we were happy that Kevin could help his parents with their fixing up of the house. Sadly, I didn't take any pictures of that part of the trip! But here are the pictures of our weekend! We started out by sledding down the great sledding hill and then went into town to feed the crazy ducks. Then ended the day with the party for the boys. I had a good time making their cake for them. Eyan LOVES monkeys and Grandpa of course makes a GREAT monkey!!! :)

At the end of March I got this new job working for Rooftop Real Estate and they required that we move into one of their units. Which was fine... except that we weren't allowed to have our Gracie. After much deliberation and sadness we decided that it would be best for our family for me to have this job and so we had to take Grace back to where we got her. We loved our Gracie and even though she drove me nuts, I miss her and I feel horrible about leaving her. When we left her Cahlin was very sad and his little eyes were filled with tears. I even started crying even though I complained about her all the time. Kevin and Eyan were tough though. All though, don't tell anyone that I told you this but Kevin was very broken up about giving his doggie away. We love you Grace and we hope you will be happy in your next adventure. We miss you!!

On Eyan's birthday we had playgroup. So we decided to make some fun cupcakes for all of our friends at playgroup. Eyan really liked having them and all the other kids just liked them too. They mostly just ate the frosting. But no big deal! We had a great day for Eyan's birthday! I can't believe that he is 2! I'm feeling like he is still my little baby but he is not even close to it anymore!

Kevin has been very into finding new shows for us to watch. He decided that the show "Mintue to Win It" was next on the list. We thought it was a fun show and the people had to do funny things. Then we saw this episode and it tipped the scale of hilarious. The show it self gets kinda of monotonous but this guys was awesome. Today is Eyan's second birthday!! I can't believe that my baby is 2!! He's been so much fun to have around! He's so sweet but he's also a huge punk at times. But I couldn't ask for any other child. His favorite thing to do is anything that brother gets to do. I have been amazed at the things that Eyan is pretty good at that took Cahlin awhile to learn. They are the best little buds but they can also fight like crazy!

Man Weekend

Kevin's friends Devin and Nolan, came up to visit us a couple weekends ago. They've been great friends for Kevin and I have to say that every time they come around I end up laughing my head off the whole time. Of course they insisted on going out and spending some "quality" man time without the influence of women and children. Probably so they can tell lame jokes and be gross men or something. But don't worry I got them to play video games with Cahlin and chop up food!! They really aren't as tough as they like to think they are... :) but don't tell them I said so!

I have recently discovered these great smoothies! They are so yummy and easy. They are by yoplait and you can get them by the frozen fruit section at your store. We love them. The boys included.

Eyan had a wonderful mustache from it and then some.

Cahlin decided that it was cool and so he made one for himself also. He also decided that he needed to take his shirt off so it didn't get dirty too. What crazy and silly boys we have!!

Eyan has started to paint in the last little while. This picture is of his first time. He just loved it and had a great time mixing colors. With Cahlin I was SO crazy about him not mixing the colors. Now, I just say have fun!!

Cahlin was helping make cookies the other night and needed a picture taken of him. He's so much fun to cook with. He loves so help make cookies. He's very good at working the Kitchen Aid!

I've had so many comments about the music on our blog. I feel I need to explain and say thank you!!! I LOVE fun music! Especially if it has a great beat. Kevin often thinks I'm weird for the songs I put up. They don't often pertain to family and our marriage.. but I just can't help myself when I love a song! I think it has something to do with my dancing background, it bread sp? some kind of crazy person in me. But I will continue to put up fun get the feeling that you just wanna dance music up! I'm glad you can all enjoy it!!! I love you all!!

Another year gone....

I am so behind. I used to be the queen of blogging and now ... not so much. It's a sad day and I've realized lately that I really need to get back on top of it! I have about a million pages that I have to scrap for my kids. I usually do a year end page of both of them. Here's this years pictures. I love my kids! They are so cute and fun. It makes me sad to see how different they are from last year.2009 was a hard year for our family. Granted we had some good times this year but mostly it was hard. I am always sugar coating things for people and I actually kinda feel like being honest. Although we have hard times I believe that it makes us stronger and the Lord knows how to help us cope and become better people. That's all I can hope for is for the strength to make it another day, month, year.

My hope for 2010 is that it is better. I'm not asking for much just better. I know the Lord will bless us and that we can get through our trials. I love my family and I'm excited to see the happy adventures that we might see this year.

New Years Fun!

New Years day both Pocatello and Idaho Falls woke up to lots of brand new heavy snow! We were planning on sledding with the Desmonds and decided that the best snow would be in Idaho Falls. So, we packed up and headed out! We had a BLAST! The sledding was great. And so was the company!

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning was great!! We had a ton of fun with the boys. Cahlin had a blast and couldn't open up his things fast enough. Eyan on the other hand was very distracted. The first toy was the best of all until we finally got him to open another one and then the next would be the best thing ever and the first would be ditched along the side! We are so thankful to our family members who helped make our Christmas so special and bright! We love you so much! After presents we all sat down to my mom's famous Christmas morning breakfast. She makes this awesome Christmas souffle ( when I was a kid I refused to eat it) makes orange rolls, cuts oranges and we have egg nog! I love it! I love Christmas! Now that I'm finally getting around to writing about it I'm finding that I'm sad it's over already. Here's some pics and videos for you all to enjoy!

Here's a video of Cahlin and Eyan right when they came out for the morning. For those of you that don't know, Cahlin has had this little stuffed Geraffe that he has had since he was born. His name is Jeffery. About 6 months ago, Cahlin had lost Jeffery number 2. When he sat on Santa's lap this year the only thing he requested was a new Jeffery. I have to admit it made my heart hurt, I realized that he had been missing him this whole entire time. So, Santa delivered and Cahlin got a new Jeffery! This video shows his reaction. It's very special! Enjoy!

Dear Santa....

We had such a great time over Christmas! We went up to my mom's house so that they wouldn't have an empty house on Christmas and I have to say, I enjoyed it so much! On Christmas Eve we all got together with my mom's family and had a big family dinner. It was fun and there was tons of yummy food! After the party we went back to my mom's house and opened our Christmas Eve gifts. The boys opened up jammies. Of course! I was also given jammies! So much fun! Of course we also had to write Santa a letter telling him about his cookies and the carrots for his reindeer but we made the cookies as well! I was a cheap mom this year and I bought Pillsbury cookie dough! :) Don't tell anyone! I love Christmas and being closer to our family. I love all of them so much! Merry late Christmas everyone!!

Joneses Thanksmas

In the middle of December we were able to get together with the Jones family for our Family service project. We had it at our house this year and it was great fun to be able to host for once! Plus, a lot of stress! Our house isn't exactly huge or big and so it made for lots of noise and close contact with lots of people! But we still had fun none the less! We defiantly missed Lynette's husband Alan, the Johanson's and Dale for half the day!

To start the day we did our service project. We did a secret Santa for a family here in our town. So, we loaded up in the cars and headed out to the stores! After our shopping spree we went up to our church to have lunch, play games and wrap presents.

After the church we headed back to our house to do the cousin gift exchange. It was great fun to see the kids get so excited about everything. We even got to skype with the Johanson's in Hawaii and see all of their surprised and excited faces!

After gifts the kids and the dad's went out and delivered the presents doorbell ditching style. Katy, Mel and I went to a salon to get Katy's hair cut. Which by the way she looked extermely cute after! ( And before) We had dinner and everyone left minus Kevin's parents who were staying one night longer. It was a great busy day and enjoyed having fun with Kevin's family! Thanks to everyone for coming and making it special and to everyone who was there over skype! We love you all!

Santa!!!

The boys were lucky enough to visit with Santa on several different occasions this year!Cahlin was pretty consistent with the presents that he wanted and he kept them very small. But he was very excited about this whole Christmas thing. Eyan on the other hand didn't really want anything to do with Santa. He only sat on his lap this one time. Santa asked him what he wanted for Christmas and he told him he wanted " bah bah bah" I guess he got the message because Eyan had a pretty good Chirstmas and was happy with his loot. :) We hope you all had a Merry Christmas season and enjoyed your time away from work and with your families.

Yes, folks that's right! Cahlin and Eyan are baby hungry! We got to spend last week with baby Aurora and her parents! Cahlin just loved her, he thought she was so cute and he loved to hold her. Eyan was in love with her and Sabrina. He always wanted to hold the baby and he wanted to give her kisses all day long! We just love miss Aurora and can't wait till the next time that we get to play with her again! She's just the sweetest thing ever!

Brotherly Love

So, lately Cahlin and Eyan have become better friends. Now, don't get me wrong there are some days that they fight tooth and nail about everything. We forget our Memory card for the camera at home over Thanksgiving!?!?! What in the world? This year we went down to Utah to spend some Holiday cheer with Kevin's family! We had a blast! Of course, when I pulled out our camera to take pictures of all the fun events, I realized.. we don't have a card... great! So, I'm posting with no pictures. BUT I figured I can get away with it since I NEVER post without pics. So, can you suffer through and puhhhlease read it anyway?? :)

The first day Katy, Melinda and I hit it hard we went for an 1 1/2 hour run/walk. Then the whole family drug us out on like a 3 hour bike ride. I swear, bikes are not meant for adult rears... not fun. :( But no worries because we came home and ate yummy food and lounged. THEN for the best part of the day we girls got to go see..... drumroll.... NEW MOON!!! AMAZING!!!!! We loved it! New Moon was so much better than Twilight. My aunt actually summed it up quite nicely.. "It was everything I wanted Twilight to be!" Anyways, Plus, I'm angry at all you people who claim to be fans of Edward and then totally demote him after New Moon, come on guys! He wants to die in New Moon... of course he's gonna look terrible! Of course that's no excuse for all the hair... but still I'm loyal.

Second day, we did Thanksgiving. went for a 1/2 hour run. And had a great time playing with the kids. The Adult boys got to go spend 3 hours at a place called Boondocks. They only had to pay 14 dollars and they got unlimited lazer tag, games, and race cars ( go carts? ) Anyways, they had a blast getting they're pent up little boy energy out and they came home smelling like exhaust... my kind of man.. ;)

Saturday, we had fun playing with the kids and making Christmas Trains. The kids had fun! Kevin's sister was moving to Utah so most of the adults went over to help her move. Then later that night we got to have dinner and spend time together. We love Kevin's family and had a great time playing games and chatting with everyone! Halloween fun

We have been looking forward to Halloween for at least a month. Once Cahlin's birthday was over he was on to the next event! He just had to be a transformer ... go figure! So, he's been sporting his costume for the last month, wearing it during the day even sleeping with it on for a couple of nights. We were pretty surprised that nothing was ripped or broken! Eyan was a kangaroo! I know I'm biased because I'm his mom... but isn't he stinkin cute or what?! I just love it! We'd put his costume on early too, because brother was and he'd run around chewing on his little baby that's in his pouch... we're gonna have to work on the whole being soft and no biting thing! ;)

We took the kids over to our ward trunk or treat and had a great time seeing everyones costumes! We shared a trunk with Brynlee, Ashley and Adam. Brynlee was a fiary. She is the cutest little thing ever! Her mom made her outfit! Cute or what!? Halloween was great and now Cahlin just can't wait for Christmas to show up!

Carving Masterpieces...

We had a great time carving our pumpkins this year! Kevin gets VERY into carving pumpkins and he does an awesome job! Grandma Giles was here to carve with us and we loved having her here to play and cut with us!

At first Cahlin was very scared of the guts inside the pumpkins. He didn't really want to help out he just wanted to take the knife to them. But Eyan got up on the counter and he just dug in. No fear! Then Cahlin decided it probably wasn't all that bad and his hand wasn't going to get bitten off. They had a good time pulling all the seeds out and making huge messes!

My mom and I did the Trick or Treat pumpkin. My mom didn't really want to participate at first but then she decided to join... she had a good time getting dirty too!! Kevin and Cahlin did the monster pumpkin. Cahlin really liked that one. Kevin also made a very special Jones pumpkin. He made up the design and everything! He also did a witch. We loved having our fun pumpkins out front!! It was a sad day when Kevin took them and smashed them in the dumpster... :) Happy late Halloween!

Cereal

Cahlin and Eyan's favorite breakfast is cereal. We wake up every morning and I take half an hour just to convince Cahlin to have something other than cereal. Cahlin has the art down pat. He doesn't make a mess at all... Eyan on the other hand needs a little bit of practice. Thank heavens for this awesome bib... it saves mom from having to clean up a HUGE mess every morning. Eyan thinks it's pretty great too, once the cereal is all gone from his bowl he just moves on to his bib! :)

Cahlin has been loving taking pictures lately. It's fun but kind of a pain, we will take our camera out for some event and the camera will be dead because Cahlin got a hold of it at some point during the week and ran the batteries out with his hour long photo shoots... we've actually been quiet impressed with his talent and vision.. :) here are some pics of his aspiring talent!! ;)

Halloween Cookies

I decided that for Halloween I would make cute little Halloween cookies for our Visiting/ Home teaching families/women. So, the boys and I slaved over cutting the dough out and baking all day long. Then I slaved for a day and half making them cute with frosting. Then they sat on my counter for 4 days. And... I didn't deliver any of them. :( by the time I got around to it they were old and not even half as soft. So, i took them to a family party because I knew no one would care. :) actually, I did give 6 cookies to our friends and that was all and that was the same day we made them!! Anyways, we had a great time as a family doing them and the boys had a blast. Here's some pics of our cookie making fun! Happy Halloween!

I can't believe that Cahlin is officially 4!! We have been looking forward to his birthday for at least 6 months! He's such an awesome boy. I wouldn't trade him for anything. Cahlin has pushed Kevin and I forward so much and I'm so thankful that Heavenly Father entrusted him to us. He has such a strong spirit and I know he wants to do those things that are right. He talks about growing up and going on his mission almost every single day. ( he also talks about growing up so he can watch Batman.. but that's a different story) :) He is so kind and patient with his friends and with Eyan most days. I catch him all the time just explaining things to Eyan and helping him figure out how something works. Today Eyan fell down the stairs and so I was on the stairs holding him while he was sobbing. Cahlin came up next to us and started to rub Eyan's back too. And he told Eyan ... " It's ok Eyan, we all have problems." Is that cute or what? He's also a very funny kid too. He's always telling my sister Carmen to be careful and not hurt herself. The other day he was at a friends house and they were having a snack he told the mom that he probably shouldn't have a snack because he didn't know if I would want him to, but then he said but it's my choice.. and took the snack. He's just a crack up! We love him so much and we can't wait for the next year of wild rides with him!! Now since I've worn you all out with this huge paragraph.. on to his party!!! :)

Cahlin got to do whatever he chose for his birthday. He decided that he wanted pizza and ice cream. And then to go see Ice Age 3. Cahlin loved his fantastic pizza and his ice cream! He chose a orange dream flavor. After pizza and ice cream we ventured on over to the movie and saw Ice Age. ( Which by the way is extremely cute!) With our friends Brynlee and her mom Ashley!! We had a great day and I hope he had a great time doing things that he loved!Eyan enjoying the day as well!! :)

The next weekend we had his actual birthday party. He wanted a Transformers party! We got together after Conference and had dinner and then played Optimus Prime Says, Find the All Spark, Autobot vs. Deceptacons Battle, and we had an Optimus Prime Pinata! We had a lot of fun with the kids and talking with family!

If my husband could move like Michael Jackson used too... well, I'd be a lucky girl!!! :) When Michael Jackson died, it's true I didn't really think twice about it. I didn't read anything about it or get into his life at all. But then I was talking to my friend Ashley, about his death and she was saying that he was really a very talented singer even as a kid.So, here I am at 1 in the morning with no husband around so I'm resisting going to bed and I'm looking up Michael Jackson music videos! Turns out she was RIGHT!! He was awesome! And actually I really do like quite a few of his songs too! As I was doing so I stumbled across this video and I loved it. Now, to explain... Kevin's got the singing voice down. I'm happy with that BUT his dance moves are a bit on the rusty side... ok.. the non-exsistant side.. :) and don't get me wrong, I love him with or without dancing skills but I'm tellin ya, if I saw him move like this just once, I'd be happy for the rest of my life!!!! WOW!! ;) I don't care who you are, this is awesome and don't kid yourselves girls you wish your husbands moved like this too! lol ;)

So, at the beginning of September my cousin got married. They were the cutest little couple. I have enjoyed so much getting to know both of them more! They got married in the Rexburg Temple. So, we decided after the wedding to go around the temple and get some family pics! Our little camera timer did a pretty good job I think!! It was a beautiful wedding and we had great fun being with family!

Savings

Cahlin spent about 2 months saving up his money to buy a special toy all by himself. He did chores every single day! He did a great job and we are so proud of him! He stuck with it even when saving up 14 dollars seemed like a lot of money.Here he is with his piggy bank getting ready to count up his money to see if he had enough for his wonderful Bumblebee the Transformer!!

Also, Our fridge was getting a bit outrageous with his master drawings and colored pictures. So, I begged him to take a picture of everything.. (thanks for the idea Trina!) it took me at least a week to get him to do it but I finally won! He does great when he decides to do an art project. It's like pulling teeth to get him to do it but once he starts he has fun! I love his kid! Isn't he just too cute!

Green Canyon

My sister Heather came up with her kids for the weekend the end of August. We had a great time! One of the days we ventured up to Green Canyon for the day. It was a blast! I love green canyon, it never changes but it's always great. I have so many memories of me being a child there and now I get to take my own kids there! Cahlin, Piper and Levi had a great time going from the cold pool and out. We also had fun on the boogie boards. Plus, Cahlin, Kevin and Piper had a great time on the diving board. I couldn't get Cahlin to do anything else!

Washington Trip

In August we had the awesome opportunity to go to one of Kevin's family reunions in Washington. We were very excited that we got to go and visit the places that Kevin was born, and lived a bit of his childhood. It was neat to experience this whole other world that is a part of my husband. We got to visit his Grandparents home, it was fun to actually be able to have a picture to put with all the stories I've been told. We were also able to spend a day exploring the little towns that his family lived. It was fun, and now I'm proud to say that there is a more po-dunk town than Rigby. And I'm very excited to us that to my advantage whenever he makes fun of Rigby! :)

The family reunion was great. I actually met a lot of Kevin's extended family that I've never met before. The kids had fun with all the activities to do and cousins. It was a bit cold so we didn't get to do quite as much as planned but we were happy that we got to stay in a cabin! I'm not one that likes to freeze and be miserable all night long. Kevin and I got to go on a hay ride together. Cahlin got to play in a bounce house almost constantly, and go for a ride on a horse. He was very excited about that last bit. He loves horses. It was well worth the 12 hour drive! Now we are just wondering when the next time we will actually be able to go back will be... probably another 4 years! :)

First Steps

This is super late, and everyone knows that Eyan has been walking forever. But I"m trying to post all the things that we did this summer and I came across this video and I just had to post it! Isn't he just so super cute! I love him so much! I'm so grateful for my little boys. They are the joys of my life!

This last week Eyan started going to Nursery! He did such a great job! We went in and he sat right down and started playing no good byes or even a little bit of crying... It would have made Kevin and I feel better if he would have at least said goodbye! :) He's such a big boy! I can't believe how old he is getting! We are proud of him for being so tough and making the transition into Nursery smoothly!

Hick Towns and Small Holidays.

So, Last year we went to the 24th of July up In St. Anthony Idaho. First off, let me just say that I've always despised St. Anthony, I think it's a horrible little town and I always hated having to spend time there.So I was surprised by how much fun I have there on the 24th! BUT... I had such a great time!!! They put on this huge production for Pioneer Day. This year we went over to my sister's house and watched the Parade, we love the Parade because the kids get gobs of candy! Then they have a rodeo and a play that they put on. The Rodeo is always really impressive. Cahlin had a great time this year going out and trying to catch the little calf to get the money. He actually stayed up in the front this year! We had a great time with Grandma! I only got pictures of the beginning of the day because I lost my camera at my Aunts house! :)

Warm River 2009

Every year my dad's family gets together and we go up to Warm River. I was a huge slacker and I didn't take our camera out until the very last day!

Eyan had a blast playing in the water and in the dirt. We had Aunt Carmen watch him once while we took Cahlin down, when we got back his swim suit was wet and he didn't have a diaper on.. Carmen said that he got so dirty she had to go clean him off in the river! I bet he loved every minute of it. Eyan also, loved going down the river too. He would hang over the edge of the tube and splash in the water! I love that our kids love the water!

Cahlin had a great time camping. He just loves being with his cousins. He got to ride his bike, float the river, squirt water at people and look at snakes.. ( not my favorite thing..) Cahlin went down the river almost constantly. One day we decided to go down farther than we usually do and he and Kevin went over board. I can't talk alot about it because Kevin will just claim that I was wrong... but I know I"m right... it was Kevin fault!! ;) Anyways, Cahlin always tells people now that he went over a waterfall...:) and anytime that we talk about going camping he says he is never going to float the river or go down waterfalls again. I love him, he's always saying the funniest things.

I'm glad we got to spend quality time with my family. We haven't been able to do much with them and I miss that. Yay for families and summer!!!

Lava HOT Springs

Kevin had the day off on some random day in July and so we decided to had over to Lava Hot Springs... I had never been there! :) So, we packed up and left after a forever long drive because of construction we finally got there! We had such a great time and the boys just couldn't get enough.
Kevin had a grand time showing us his skills on the high dives. He's quite the diver!Cahlin was very sad that they wouldn't let him go off the diving board, because of his floaties! I guess that means that we've got to get him swimming without them! We also had fun taking turns with Cahlin and going down the water slides! Cahlin is so amazing, he's so fearless when it comes to water I love that he wants to do the diving boards and water slides! At the end of the day he even tried to learn how to swim. He did a pretty good job for his first time!
Eyan loved being in his floatie but then we took him out.... the kid went crazy!!! He LOVES the water just as much as his brother!! Kevin would swirl him around and dunk him and he just loved it!! If I haven't mentioned this before... I LOVE having boys!!! They are sooo much fun!
At the end of the day we were all so tired. Eyan was asleep before we got to the car. Kevin and I have never been so sunburnt in our lives! I couldn't even sleep because everywhere hurt to badly. But we did have a great family day and we will remember it for years to come!

4th of July!!

I've been told repeatedly lately that I have fallen off the wagon in the blogging world. One would have never thought that it would happen to me! But it did! I just haven't had that urge to get it up again! Maybe because it takes 15 hours to load one picture!
Anyways, for the 4th we went over to the Desmond's and went to the Idaho Falls parade.. which by the way is extremely long and they need to cut it down. Then we headed back to the Desmonds and had a water fight! I forgot my swim clothes so I sat on the side and took pictures with Mel's camera.. i forgot ours! Then after about 1/2 an hour I could take it anymore and I put on my pj's and got wet! It was a lot of fun! Then we had a bbq, then we headed over the G & G Hughes and had a bbq there! It was fun to see them and let the kids play!
After the bbq, we took Eyan back to the Desmond's so he wouldn't have to stay up late. It was kinda fun just to have Cahlin. So, we played on the Green belt and walked around, saw Kendra and her little boy!! ( So cute! ) :) then we met up with 2 couples from our ward and watched the fireworks!
I'm so grateful that we could be back in Idaho this summer. We have had so much fun going to all the family get togethers. We have missed our families so much. I'm also grateful for the country that we live in and the rights and privlidges that we have.

Black Eye

Cahlin suffered from his very first black eye a couple months back... he had a collision with Grace!! Poor kid, He was laid out flat on his back! It's weird because she never runs into him when they play! Oh well, I guess he knows who's bigger now!

After this little accident, I didn't think he'd get another black eye for awhile but I was wrong. He and his cousin Caloway were jumping on the tramp and had a collision of their own. This black eye is much worse. It's under his entire eye and on the outside too! Geez, people are going to start reporting us for child abuse!!:)

Ok, I can't handle the suspense!!! I just have to post pictures! The piano is DONE!!!!!! It was a great project and I'm finding myself bored... I have nothing to do at night anymore! I guess I'll have to start reading again!! I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am with my piano! It looks a thousand times better!!!! I never thought it could look this good!! Summer Fun!

At the beginning of the summer we decided to get the boys a slip and slide! it's been fun but our water pressure isn't very good and so it doesn't spray quite as impressively as the picture on the box does!! :) But Cahlin and Eyan still love it! So, our internet has not been working lately so I come to you from the LIBRARY! I love it! I feel like my whole life is out and everyone can see everything here! Anyways, life is great. Kevin isn't leaving for Basic Training for a long while and so we are excited to have a great family summer! Father's day was great fun! The boys got Kevin the Perfect Pullup.... he loves it! Plus, Cahlin gets a good workout too, ( with dad's help). We haven't been up to very much. We are excited to have a good ole' Idaho 4th of July. But we heard that it might rain... and that makes us very sad. We are also excited to go camping in 2 weeks and I have a wedding cake this next weekend so keep your eyes out for that! Oh, and for some big news...... Eyan is finanlly WALKING!!! Every single day he gets better and better! We are so proud of him for taking the plung into toddlerhood! We hope everyone is having a great summer and enjoying the sunshine while it lasts! We love you all!!

United States Navy

It's official!!! Kevin is now Property of the United States NAVY!!! We are so excited for this new step in our lives and we can't wait to get it going. It seems that everything takes a rather long time to get going with the Military. We are still waiting to see what schooling and job Kevin will do, so we will keep you up to date with that news. As of right now we aren't sure when he will leave for Basic training but we should be able to have a normal family summer together. Which as most of you know we have never really had a NORMAL family summer. We are excited to have an Idaho Falls 4th of July!!! ( I'm totally biased, everywhere else has lame 4th of July's) :) We have been to our Nation's Capital and New York City for the 4th and both were hot, muggy and raining, you couldn't even see the fireworks, because the smoke would just hang in the air!!Also, to go on camping trips and family reunions!! It should be great fun! Thanks to everyone who has helped us on our journey to the Navy and for all of the advise!! We love you all!!!

Project!!!

We started re-finishing our piano about 2 weeks ago! Here is a picture of when we first got the piano. It looks so sad... note the bench that's what we just worked on..

We started with the bench, I thought it would be the easiest to do. We had to strip off the old stain, sand, re-stain and put on the gloss coat. It took forever!!! Really it wasn't to bad the worse was getting the old nasty junk off. Here's a pic of how the bench looked after we got done stripping and sanding it.
Here is the after! We did a black stain and a super high gloss! I think after we get the whole piano finished it's going to look sooooooo much better! I can hardly wait! Although... the piano is going to be not so much fun.. :(Now the bench with the piano! It looks so much better up against the piano. Now comes the fun part of doing that whole piano!! Wish us luck!

Slumber Party

So, I get the kids in bed tonight and I can hear them messing around in their room. They do this every night so I wasn't to surprised that they hadn't passed out. After about 20 minutes I decided that I needed to go in and settle things down again... this is what I witnessed....
Honestly, this melts my heart. I love my kids with my whole heart and I'm so grateful for the things that they teach me every single day.

Kevin's parents and our family planned a trip back in February to go to Yellowstone in May. We thought it would be great weather by then and so we planned it out and set off!! I kept looking at the weather reports for this last weekend and it never looked very promising but we decided to tough it out...

Friday night we got up to our camp ground and set our tent up next to a great pile of snow. We had a heater to put in our tent and 2 cans of propane to keep warm, we thought we would only need one... well, the first tank ran out at about 11:30. Grace climbed in our bed at about 2 in the morning and really Kevin and I didn't mind... she kept us warm!! The next tank ran out at about 5 in the morning. Right after the last of our heat we had to pull Eyan into bed, then Grace freaked out, jumped out of bed and threw up. By this time, Cahlin had woken up. We all got out of the tent and went for a 2 hour joy ride. It was great, we couldn't get warm enough in the car!

We did enjoy having our very first true camping experience as a family. Cahlin got to roast his first hot dog and experience a S'more for the first time! He had so much fun, it was lots of fun to share this first with Grandma and Grandpa!

On our morning ride, we saw a bear chasing down a herd of Bison!!! We couldn't believe it! It was so amazing to watch. We got a video of it, but we were driving and it gets a little shaky, so sorry! But enjoy it's extremely cool to watch!

Then we headed to Old Faithful to see all the geysers there!

After the Geysers we went over to the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone... it was amazing! I had no idea something like that was in Yellowstone. It was breath taking. We forgot our camera in the car for that spot. Great! The next stop was Mammoth Hot Springs... my 2nd favorite spot! Holy cow!!! Yellowstone is freaking awesome!!! We've got to go back!!! Dancing Disappointment

Usually I have to say that I don't really like Dancing with the Stars I think it's kinda old people.. ish... so, I have never really been a fan of it. I'm more into the type of dancing that you see on So You Think you Can Dance. But I noticed before this new season of Dancing with the Stars came on that they had quite a few people that I liked on the show. Melissa from the bachelor, Shawn Johnson and a few more. I had never really heard of Chuck Wicks because I'm not a Country music type person. But I totally loved him!! Anyways, He got kicked off this last week.... :( sad. He really wasn't a very good dancer but he was SO funny and I always loved his jokes and his presence. Just thought I'd give a lil shout out about it... does anyone else watch this? Fort time

After a great day at church we decided to have a family bonding night... we made a FORT!!! We haven't made one of these since Cahlin was like 18 months! It was tons of fun, Kevin gets very serious about his forts and so it usually is a long process to get going. He ended up not going to crazy with it, but it turned out good enough! Eyan just loved it, he had a great time crawling in and out and through the chairs, he also had fun caving it in!!!

I love trying new Shampoos and Conditioners! I love when mine runs out and I need a new kind! I like to change to a new brand because I think it's good for your hair to have something new, helps it get rid-of build up... just my point of view.. :) Anyways, I just got done using Granier Fructis. So, I was at the store and saw this new line of Herbal Essences and thought I'd try it!

I really really like it! After just one use my hair feels so much better. Usually when I get out of the shower my hair still feels like straw.. it is soooo tangled. It doesn't matter how much or how little I use. And it feels so brittle. So, I was excited that even after Shampooing my hair felt better. Now, I know that everyone says I need to use a professional brand... well, I don't believe that. I recently used Redkins.. color protector and their conditioner that everyone just loves... All Soft... um, it's not so great. It didn't help my hair at all.

Plus, this new Herbal Essences shampoo looks so cool! The actual shampoo looks just like the bottle, it's purple with lavender swirls!! So fun!!! Anyways, I know I'm always going off about some product... just thought I'd share.. also, I'm reading the Chidren of the Promise series and I love it!! I recommend it to anyone!

Food Storage

Well, we have finally decided to work on a little food storage... :) We've never really had the chance to do anything because we are constantly moving and I don't want to mess with it... and whatever left over food we do have, I usually end up giving away... ( Jeff & Liz) So, we've had the feeling a lot lately of how important it really is!!! So, here's the beginning step of the storage that we did today... :)
hahaha, I think this is funny... our first little gallon of water.. :) we will probably do a lot of bottled water too, but we go through so much milk, that I thought why not do this too! Can't hurt to have a lot of water!! So, here's our pathetic start to storage... I'm excited to take more pictures as it grows!!

New Toy

This last week we were lucky enough to score a grill off of our neighbors!! It's a mother and daughter and they are moving to California soon and they didn't want it!! We were trying to figure out a way to get a bbq and now we don't have too!!! We are so excited! Last night for our date night in. We used it for the first time! It did great! Kevin was very excited that he got to have steak! Here's a pic of our yummy dinner!!!

Seven Pounds

So, Kevin and I rented Seven Pounds a few days ago... has anyone seen this movie?? I have really mixed feelings about it! It's a good show but the ending is really upsetting. It's about a married guy and he gets in a wreck with a van. His wife dies and 6 other people. So, He quits his job and decides to change 7 peoples lives. I guess so he's not guilty anymore or something.. Anyways, he donates bone marrow, and a few other things. He finds a girl that has heart failure and he tries to help find a donor but they can't find a heart for her. He ends up falling in love with her. Anyways, he commits suicide to give her his heart because she would have died if not. And he donates his eyes to a blind man. It was a good show but then they fall in love and then he takes himself away from her. I can't decide if it's the ultimate gift or what. Even just thinking about it right now makes me upset. What do you think Heavenly Father would do if someone did that? Hard situation. Anyways, the main Actor is Will Smith so it's well done. And it's done by the producer of The Pursuit of Happiness. Anyways, I wanted to hear what you all think of the movie if you have seen it.

Easter Time!

We had a great Easter weekend! I did my first wedding cake and it turned out perfect! If you would like to see pictures just check out the cake blog! After that wedding we ventured on up to my mom's house and we played with Aunt Carmen for the weekend! I had a lot of fondant left over from the wedding cake so I helped Carmen make an Easter Cake! She did really well at it! I'm proud of her for trying something new! Sunday morning the boys had fun seeing their Easter Baskets! I love Easter I always have it's just a great time. So, today we cut hair!!! All the boys got hair cuts! It feels like we were cutting off their winter shag and they were set free into Summer! Or Spring! After they took showers Cahlin and Kevin came down with their towels on. Cahlin always wants his tied all cool like dad always does. So, here's my handsome little man! ( I tried to get Kevin to pose too, but he wasn't too excited about it! ) :)

For Conference weekend we went over to Kevin's sister's and watched, played, and had a super great time! The kids were pretty good for conference and we had so much fun playing too! Saturday night after the guys got home. Melinda and I watched Twilight and we had to critique everything that happened in it! While the boys played call of duty or some other manly game. Kevin and I have officially made it to our 4 year mark!! Crazy?! This especially huge to us because it's been a hard year for us!! I am SO grateful to Heavenly Father for blessing my life with an amazing husband. He is the most forgiving person that I can think of and he has so much capacity to love. I am so grateful for his spirit and testimony and strength. He is truly my hero. I know this sounds really corny and silly. But I really feel like people need to know how much I love him. Kevin has been there no matter what, when he could have just said forget it. I am so grateful that he has been there. I love you Kevin and I can't wait to see what the rest of our lives brings us.

Kevin and I were married March 26th, 2005 in St. Anthony Idaho. I don't have any pictures on the computer but I'll try to get some soon. The colors were Lavender and Yellow. It was simple but nice. After the wedding we stayed at the Red Lion on the Greenbelt in Idaho Falls and then we spent a week just hanging out together at our new apartment with no work! Our marriage has taken us to live in 5 different states and 10 different homes. :) We've gone on one cruise and have been to NYC. We have had our fair share of HUGE trials and we have had our fair share of INTENSE joy!!One of our greatest moments was in 2006 when we were sealed for Time and All Eternity in the Bountiful Utah Temple, not just Kevin and I but Cahlin was there as well. It was the most amazing experience having his little baby hand over ours and know that he would be ours forever and the children that would come. We have been able to bring 2 amazing and incredibly handsome boys into this world. There are lessons that you will learn being a parent that nothing else can teach you. It's amazing the feel, that you will do ANYTHING for your child. We have been on food stamps, we've bought a brand new car together. We've spent 6 weeks apart. We have been on opposite sides of the country from one another. We've owned 3 fish, 2 cats and 1 dog. We've cried together and laughed together. We've experienced many things together but we have many more to do!!

1st Birthday!!

Today is our little Eyan Riley's very first birthday!! Last year at this time, I was having contractions up the wazoo, and I was getting VERY angry because I wasn't getting my epidural... see folks I'm not one of those girls that wanted to TRY and do this naturally... no no, that's not for me. I didn't want ANY pain. NONE. My whole life I had been TERRIFIED of having a baby. So, I would rather just kick back and breeze through it. I was put in the hospital at 10 in the morning and induced, they broke my water right away and then didn't get my epidural til 1:45!!! Talk about a bad deal. I realized that I actually didn't feel any contractions worth talking about with Cahlin's labor. The beginning of Eyan's truly was HORRIBLE!!! Anyways, long story short, he was born and 3:43 PM! I was in labor for 5 short hours! Funny fact, Cahlin was born at 3:34 PM and Eyan 3:43! Crazy? Eyan weighed 6 lbs 9oz and was 20 inches long.
Eyan now weighs 20 lbs! He's a small guy but he can hold his own! Eyan loves to play with his brother and he loves his doggie! he...

He is so smart and cute. We love him so much and are so blessed to have his sweet spirit in our home. We couldn't ask for better kids. He always puts a smile on my face! We love you Eyan!!
For Eyan's party we had everyone come over and we had hogies and cake. Then we went over to a Party Place and let the kids play on a HUGE play place.Eyan LOVED his cake. He picked the whole piece up and went after it. He was nothing but smiles the whole day!! I think he really likes being the center of attention. At the party place Eyan sat on a little airplane the whole time and just pushed the buttons and drove the plane! Thanks to everyone who came! Eyan loves you all!!!
This morning we had the traditional "Rolly Pancakes" for breakfast, This was Eyan's first time having them and he loved them! Tonight Gpa and Gma Hughes are coming over to have dinner with the birthday boy! We're excited for them to see our home... Kevin and I have been married for 4 years and they have NEVER been to any of our homes! Should be fun!

So, my mom was coming down to our house this weekend for Eyan's birthday party. I see her pull in with a truck and PIANO in the bed!!!! I was soooo excited!! First off, I have been beggin my mom to give me her piano for years. Basically because no one plays it and it just sits in her basement in the cold! It's a gorgeous piano but I guess, I've lost the war because she got me another one!! :) It's super old and needs to be re-finished really badly but I'm really excited to have a project with Kevin!! I went through 3 rags cleaning it and I used an old tooth brush to clean out the creases. It looks a lot better! I'm thankful for a mom and step dad who went out of their way to give us this great gift!! We went out and bought a Primary Song book, Hymn book and a solo. Plus, I went to my mom's and got all my old music from when I took lessons. I'm excited to play the things I used to. I'm going to have to practice ALOT!!

Doggie Daycare

Eyan's favorite spot to hang out as of late is Graces crate. He LOVES it. Since I have wised up and removed her dog food from his presence when he is downstairs, that's not of interest anymore. So, he has found that exploring the caged jungle is great fun, for at least 20 minutes, twice a day. He even gets Cahlin over there laughing at him and they play with each other. They think it's great! I think Grace thinks they're weird but, what can you do? :)
Notice how Cahlin is on TOP of the crate... :)Also,Note... Eyan has 2 Binky's in his possession.. he has taken this habit up just this last week of crawling everywhere with both at all times. I asked him to show me both.. he's such a good listener :)
And now he is demonstrating how he actually needs them both.. one is for when he is holding still checking something out and the other for travel. It makes since to him...
Since Grace has let Eyan have so many privileges with her things, Eyan decided to share the love... sharing his most prized possession... his bink.
He also, wanted to share his bottle... that's why she's so tuckered out... It's exhausting drinking a bottle!!

The Dreaded Plague...

Day after day, I sit around in my spare time trying to think of creative things to blog about. Lately, I have had nothing... :) my days consist of being a mom.. which I love but most days are pretty much the same. Then there's always the cake thing, but I'm pretty sure people don't want to talk cakes all day long. So, one thing that has made up Kevin and I's life this last week, is the dreaded 24 hour flu!! Oh, my word! I HATE it!! Kevin came home Thursday after work and wasn't feeling well, he said his stomach was hurting, I am TERRIFIED of the stomach flu so I went on the fritz. I was sanitizing everyone's hands like crazy, I wouldn't let Kevin touch anything and I quarantined him to our room for the night. When bed time came I was terrified of getting to close to him. And I had to wash our sheets the second we got up the next morning. Turned out he didn't have the stomach flu, just the flu. So, a few days passed and I thought well was good in the Jones house... no no, we got home Sunday night from family fun and I get sick!! I was sooo mad, and miserable. I will admit I whined a lot more than Kevin did. And It made me sad if he didn't cuddle me.. :( but HEY he already had it!! So, there was no risk of him getting it!! Our family doesn't get sick to often so when we do it hits us of guard. I hate the feeling of not wanting to move because every time you do your whole body hurts or when you kids jump on you it feels like you are going to bruise! Or even getting the chills hurt! Or feeling like you will never feel whole again and you'd do anything to make it go away!! Maybe I'm just a whimp, I need to man up.

***** I was just informed that the stomach flu and the flu are the same thing, to me they are not! The stomach flu is when you are puking and puking and puking. The flu is just where you feel horrible the whole day!

I thought I would put something up, that lifted my Spirits and helped me feelcloser to the Lord. I hope you can take the time to enjoy also! I think that in the middle of the week we are so caught up in our lives and what's happening for the week that we need to slow down and refocus so that, Sunday won't be the only day that we remember the Lord and his sacrifice and love for us. I love the Lord and I am so grateful for his mercy and forgiveness. I know that everything I have is from him. I have a whole family because of him and I am grateful every single day that we are an Eternal Family!

Desmond Day

So, today we had the honor of having the Desmond's come visit us!! Melinda was sick so she stayed at the house while the rest of us went to church. It was so cute to see Cahlin and Caloway going to Sunbeams together. Plus, Emmalee, Savanna and Becca did such a great job being brave and going to their classes by themselves. I don't know if I would have been as brave as them. We were most proud of Dale, we didn't have to bribe him into going to class at all! The biggest problem was trying to keep him awake. Maybe it's because he had to much fun PLAYING with Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban this last week! ( It's a hard life.) He was most excited when his teachers had tons of food for them Elders Quorum. :)

We also had cake for Becca who turned 6!! She had the cutest butterfly cake!! Kevin's sisters are so good at cake decorating!! Their cakes always turn out so fun and cute! It was actually Makenna and Becca's birthday's this last week and they had matching cakes. How sweet!! We love those two little girls!! They always help when asked and they always have the cutest little smiles and the greatest stories. We enjoyed spending time with The Desmond's today and getting to talk to Kenna on the phone! I hope her birthday party turned out great!!! Happy Birthday girls!!Rebekah Josephine Desmond! Makenna Ann Johanson!

Bowling Night!

Kevin surprised us last night and took us Bowling!! We were so excited! Cahlin had never been before and he had a blast! He had to wear the cutest little shoes and everything! He even almost beat me!! Kevin bowled a 136 I got a 101 and Cahlin got 70!! He did pretty good! At the beginning of the game he was beating me! It did help BOTH Kevin and I have the gutter guards up!! Eyan loved watching and yelling!! I was impressed with the bowling alley too, there was zero smoke!! It was great!!! I did feel like a retard with the 70 year old gals next to us bowling a perfect game.. :) seriously they were that good!

A wonderful life

Life has been just chugging along. The days just seem to pass and fly by. I can't even believe that it's Wednesday already this week! Cahlin has been sick so we have been doctoring him! In the last 2 days he has taken almost a whole bottle of Tylenol. At his doctor appointment yesterday. The doctor told us that since Cahlin is prone to having Febral Seizures we can't let him even get close to running a high fever. How scary is that? To know that the second he gets hot, we have to drug him like crazy and keep him from getting worse. Anyways, turns out he has strep! AGAIN! But his right gland or tonsil is HUGE. His neck is so swollen.

But, on a lighter note! Cahlin was introduced to the world of bubble wrap!! I always loved popping all the bubbles when I was small. This was the first time that he actually sat down and popped and popped and popped!! sniff... we're so proud! :) Eyan is just being the crazy little almost toddler ever! He just got his 2 front top teeth! He looks so cute with his little razor sharp pearly whites! They hurt too!! 11 months has gone by so quickly and I'm sad my little baby is getting older. But I'm also excited to see the great relationship between he and Cahlin grow as they get older. During his 11 month photo shoot he was way to busy destroying train tracks and playing to give me his cute smiles. But he still looks cute to me!! And of course we have to include our other child! Grace is doing well. She has chewed through my shoe laces...grrr... and also destroyed two of Cahlin's train tracks. Lucky for us Carmen gave us a crate to keep her in while we are gone! haha.. who gets the last laugh now!!! :)
