Decisions...
So, most of you know that we are re-finishing our piano and we need your help!! We can't decide if we want to leave the name of the piano on it or change it to ...

i'd leave the name! i think it gives character. but any of your options would look neat :)
Well I think having your name is pretty neat but also having the name of it on would be good to, so let us know wha tyou decide but i think i like the family name
Hummm, I would leave the original name too, unless the finish you put on doesn't match. If that is the case then you should put Jones family est 2005
I say leave the original name. Just incase you ever sale it and pepole always want to know what brand it is.

I think you should make it your own. I don't know much about pianos and maybe this brand and style are super rare and you would have gotten $7,000 for it from a guy in North Dakota who has been looking for one of these - but probably not. I have never heard of anyone putting their family name on their piano - but I love it and think you should do it.
I have no reason, but leave the original.
Oh Brittney, I'm SO behind on everyone's blogs, so first of all, CONGRATULATIONS on the Navy decision. I'm sure it will be an adjustment at first, but what a great opportunity it will be for you guys. I wish you nothing but the best!
So how does one go about getting a piano restored? Is it wildly expensive? I would like to restore my great-grandma's piano but have been afraid of the cost.
I don't know anything about pianos, but I love the idea of putting your family's name on it. It IS your family's piano- make it official!

I like vintage looking stuff and that typeface on the original name is pretty vintage looking so I'd leave the piano name on it. But your other ideas are cute too.
Hey Britt! How are you?! I feel bad, because I haven't made a comment forever! I have been really bad at that! But I really think I like, putting the family name on the piano. Just because, I know how much my family means to me, and I can imagine how much the piano would mean to me. So combining both just seems perfect! At least that's my thought...whatever you do will be perfect! Have a great day!

Hey Girl. Nice get on the piano! I Really like the vintage look with the original name, BUT I also like the Jones est. 2005. Either way I think you should use the same text and coloring!!! Are you keeping it the pretty red-wood color?
