Big Brother

Brittney's sisters Heather and Carmen have been extremely helpful this week. They came down to help out and watch Cahlin. They brought Cahlin down to the hospital last night to meet his new baby brother. Cahlin was so excited to see him! He immediately knew who Eyan was, and climbed up on Brittney's bed to hold him. He gave him a kiss and told him that he loved him. He was so sweet, and gentle with Eyan! Cahlin is going to be a great big brother. We will just have to make sure he isn't too nice, because his next order of business was making sure Eyan was getting enough to eat. He tried to feed him a cheese stick. :) At least we know he's getting sharing down!

Eyan Riley Jones was born on March 25th, 2008 at 3:43 pm. He is 6lbs, 9oz, and twenty inches long! Nuff said, I'll let the pictures say the rest!

She is fully effaced, fully dilated, and ready to push! We're just waiting on the doctor now. It won't be long before we are the proud parents of two fifths of a basketball team! Woohoo!

Epidural

Brittney received her epidural at 1:45. surprisingly enough, this picture was taken while she could still feel the contractions. Beautiful even when she's in labor! She is now dilated to a 6, and laboring like a champ! Hurray for modern medicine! The doctor expects that it will only be another hour or so, meaning Eyan will be born around 3:15. We'll see how accurate he can be.

Light at the end of the tunnel

We have been admitted to the hospital as of 10 o'clock this morning. Pitosin (or unpregnant juice as our nurse calls it) was started at 10:40. Now we are just waiting. We will keep you up to date as Brittney's labor progresses with pictures as we upload them (we'll keep it PG). In the meantime, here are some before pictures and a video of our family, and our son before he became a big brother.
