New York

We finally ventured out as a family and went to New York City!! It was a very long day and we had fun but I think it will be a while before we go again! We took the train into the City and then we took the subways to get around. We pretty much spent about 3 hours on trains and subways because people kept giving us the wrong directions! But eventually we made it and we had a great time together as a family! Cahlin got to ride on his first carousel which was in Central Park.We also got to enjoy a New York hot dog! We ventured down to Time Square and saw Madison Square Garden and the HUGE Toys "R" us. It has a ferris wheel inside!

Josh and I went to New York when I was 5 months pregnant! It was a lot of fun though. We were with about 15 or more other people that he worked with. It's a very confusing city, getting lost isn't hard, but luckily a guy in our group used to work there, so he kind of became our tour guide for most of the trip! I dunno how we would have done it with out him! When we were at central park I didn't see people laying out around like that, that is so crazy! It was actually last may (2007) that we went. And we had those NY hot dogs too, but we didn't think they were that great! But they were ok! Anyway, that's fun you guys got to go and have a little bit of that New York City experience! I think it's worth having! I wanna go again...someday!That traffic is horrific!!!
