Sunday came and we found ourselves doing Christmas Trains! I didn't get to participate because we were doing a musical number in Sacrament and I needed to practice like crazy! So I was at the church and running around with my head chopped off! I asked Kevin to take pictures and he took TONS of pictures! I am thankful that he took the pictures so seriously!!
Grandpa, Bridger, Caloway and Whitney with their Train.
I loved this picture of Alan. Sorry, but I had to post it!!:)
Kevin, Lynette, Becca, Makenna and Savanna starting their train.
Katy, Cahlin and Kennin did a train together. It was themed the Polar Express!
Down the table!
I don't know who's train this is but it was decked out!! Good job guys!Cahlin's train with Katy and Kennin. They did a great job... every time that I saw Cahlin he was shoving candy in his mouth! Oh well... he was having fun! This was Kevin's train. It was a Hawaiian train. They made a palm Tree and they had a pond too.I think this was Grandpa's train.

Mike and Trina blessed their baby Brynlee on Sunday also. So there were tons of people at their house and it was great fun! These are pictures of the afternoon.
Everyone's shoes.
Kevin and Lynette. I love this picture!
Dylan Jones. This is Kevin's cousin. He is the nicest kid ever! I have known him for a while now and I just love it when we get to see him. He looks just like his older brother!
Cahlin sat on Grandma's lap for like half an hour! I couldn't get a very clear picture. But he was so sad he wouldn't smile at all. He really loves her so much!
Kevin's sisters. They are all so beautiful!!

Later on in the evening we had a Christmas Devotional put on by one of Kevin's siblings teachers from College. Then we did a the Christmas story as a play..

Tag I'm it AGAIN!!!

Well, I have been tagged to do the same tag about 4 times now and I have already done that certain tag. So I decided to do a different tag. It was a really fun High School tag and I had a blast writing it and it was forever long. I was done made it cute and added pictures and the stupid computer deleted my post. So I wrote and worked for an hour and it's all gone!!! So, I am not going to deal with blogger anymore for today! So, maybe later on when I have patience I will do it again... but for now enjoy the pictures of my high school days. These are the only ones I have on the computer. And Cahlin just informed me that I look horrible so... I should probably go and do something to make myself look better.

um...where's the dungeon?!

Ok so for today I have a variety of things that I need to put down here. First off I posted a couple weeks ago a picture of Eyan and how he had gotten half undressed in his sleep. Well yesterday I go to get him out of bed and he had done this! Crazy kid...
I don't know how I am supposed to keep clothes on him when he is a teen ager, when he won't even stay dressed when he is a baby! Now onto more serious business...

My sister Dawn sent out an email about Meth. It had a slide show on it about the effects of Crystal Meth. Needless to say... it's very good and it makes me sick. I am TERRIFIED to have my kids grow up. This drug is very scary and it's not even just this drug! Anything, drinking and even smoking I am terrified that my kids will be involved in that! There are so many things that are going to affect our kids! And that's just now! What will be in their roads in 10-15 years when they are in high school! I can't even grasp it. I think I am going to lock them up in their rooms and never let them out into day light. Or I think maybe put a little chip in their heads so that I can track their every move!!
Drugs are just the tip of the ice burg! What about dirty rotten GIRLS!!!:) I am a girl and I remember flirting with guys... don't tell me you didn't do it!! Kevin and I were watching a show the other day and Kevin asked what I would do if one of the boys came home with a girl that was... um... not exactly covered.... I said I didn't know but I am sure I would have a hard time not throwing the girl out!!! And then locking my son in his room for the rest of his life.
AND... have you seen a teenager drive?! I personally wasn't a very scary driver but I can remember some ( Rachael, Nicole... maybe Kendra?) :) just to name a few! But we are girls we aren't very crazy... Kevin and his friends were nuts! How can I let my teenage son go for a drive when I know he's going to be goofing off with his buddies! AHHH... I"m gonna go nuts!! Over Thanksgiving some of the boys went to get movie tickets... in my head they are still like 10 and I watch them drive off!!! I'm sorry but how the heck do you deal with that?!
So, I have come up with an idea... we should all pitch in and we can build some kind of home for them like Alcatraz! Only we would need 2, one for boys and one for girls! We have to save them from themselves!!Ok I know, I know this is crazy talk but you seriously can't tell me that it doesn't scare you! I guess the only thing we can do is teach them correct principles and hope they make the right choices.
But seriously... anyone want to go in on it with me?! :) They need a hero!!!
Now... I am off to read my book about a teenage girl being kidnapped by a murderer...

8 Months!

Eyan Riley is offically 8 months old! I can't believe that in less than 4 months he will be one! Where does the time go? I can't believe how quickly he is growing! He loves to do all sorts of things, play with his brother, laugh, smile, eat, scoot around the house, try out his sippy. He weighs 18.3 lbs which is the 50th percentile for his age and he is 28 inches long which is the 25th percentile. He is just a bit smaller than Cahlin was but we still love him! He had to have 4 shots and he was pretty sad after. But he was a tough little boy and calmed down pretty quickly! It still broke my hear tho! I am excited to see what this little boy will bring into our home! We love you Eyan!!
Cahlin also had a check up. He was pretty nervous at first but by the end is was pretty good. He didn't have to have any shots. They gave him a spray vaccine for the flu! How great is that?! But he weighs 36 lbs and is in the 90th percentile. And he is 40 1/4 th inches tall which is the 95th percentile! No shocker there Cahlin is taller than some of his cousins that are older than him! When the doctor checked Cahlin's mouth he gaged pretty hard. So all the way home he just talked about how he gaged and re-did the noise.... such a boy! We love you too Cahlin! You boys are the greatest things that ever happened to us!

Thanksgiving in Idaho

We were so excited for Thanksgiving to come! And we had a blast! It was so much fun to stay with my mom and her husband and spend time with Carmen and Eddy. Also, it was great to go to my Dad's house and see all of our family there!
We were lucky enough to have 2 Thanksgiving dinners! Cahlin decided to get sick the night before Thanksgiving so we almost couldn't go to any of the activities we had planned but no one seemed to care! Thanks guys! So we headed off to G&G Hughes! We helped get dinner ready and we got to talk and play with everyone! It was great! And dinner turned out great! I don't think I have ever had turkey that good at my dad's house!:)
Then we headed on over to my Aunt Sara's house. They served my families home made ribs. Kevin claims that they are the best in the world! I don't really like to eat them because of the fat. But they are really good! We had to cut out a little bit early because our kids were getting sick again! But we had a great day!
Saturday, Carmen, my mom, Liz, Trish and I all went to Twilight!! It was great! I liked it a lot more the second time that I watched it. It was so much fun to see it with a bunch of girls. I especially loved Trisha and Liz's reactions! After the movie was over we were out in the lobby and Santa Claus came up and put his arms around Trisha and Carmen. Carmen decided that was to close and walked away. But Trisha had a great conversation with him! I guess she is on the nice list this year!;)Sorry, Carmen I don't know what that means for you! Later that night we went back over to Aunt Sara's and I got to raid her library! Woohoo! I needed a good book to read. And we played Wacky Six all night. I thought Kevin's family was good at that game... holy cow I got it handed to me! I love my family and we had a great weekend!

7 weird & wacky facts about Brittney!!!

I was tagged by Jessica!!Sorry Jess, it has taken me a while to get this done!:)

1: I am extremely picky about what my kids eat. I don't like them to have a lot of sugary food or crappy food. I think it is because I have been struggling with my own weight and I really don't want my kids to have that problem. So I want to teach them to eat healthy! Also, I am very critical of their clothes and hair. I have to air dry any shirt or pants that I really like and I have to fold their clothes just perfectly. When ever Kevin does the laundry I will actually re-fold everything that he has done! I know I'm a brat. Also, Cahlin's hair has to be just right. Ok, I guess everything with my kids I am really neat about.

2: I HATE any kind of fat on my meat. I think i is disgusting! When ever I have to clean chicken before I cook it I will cut all the fat off and anything tough or veins or anything like that. I don't like to eat stakes because the fat seems to be laced through out the meat. I have actually gaged before. I also HATE when my meat is anywhere near the red zone. It has to be totally brown or I won't eat it!

3: I look at peoples nails. :) Girls toe nails... if they aren't polished and looking nice and I am close to that person. I will actually volunteer to do their nails for them. :) I just really like the look of nice toe nails. I think that it helps a women feel better about herself too. Especially in the summer. My kids nails have to be cut and Kevin's too. I hate it when guys have long nails, you know the cashier when he hands you back your money and you notice long disgusting nails that have dirt under them... :( so sick.

4: I LOVE it when my counters are clean. I hate it when there are crumbs on them. I have to wash them all down. I love seeing nice glossy counters!

5: This one is bad and it's really annoying. But... if someone tells me that I need to change something about myself, I don't know like if my shirt looks bad or something. I will leave it on because they want it changed. So basically
if you tell me to do something I will refuse to do it until I want to. It has to be my idea.

6: I like to peel skin off of sunburns. :) I know some of you are thinking that is so gross. But I do!! I can't help it. :)

7: I have to have some kind of light on when I watch a show or movie. I can't stand it when all the lights are off. I don't know why but I just do!!

Ok well I sound like a total freak now. And I sound like a brat. I promise I'm not! These are just the things that I am really weird about! So I tag...
