5 Months!!

Eyan is officially five months old! The time has gone by so quickly and he is such a crazy and fun baby! He always puts a smile on our faces!
Eyan and Kevin playing the piano. He thought it was great he would take his eyes off the piano. I was lucky to get this picture!

Daddy is home!!

Well Kevin decided that it was time to come home! We are so excited that he came back to us safely! We met Kevin in Fillmore Utah Saturday morning. We went down for a play that my step-brother was doing. So we got a hotel because there was no room at the house and we spent all day Saturday together. Cahlin would not stop wrestling with Kevin he just kept on going and going. Saturday night in Cahlin's sleep he said..." We are back...home." It was so sweet. He missed Kevin so much and he is a completely different boy now. We didn't get to spend much time with him though, Kevin was picking our brother in-law up in SLC at about 9 in the morning on Sunday so he had to leave around 6 in the morning. We decided that Cahlin would be happiest if he got to go with Dad. So he got to spend all day just with Dad. We are now living in Idaho Falls with Kevin's sister and her husband. (Mike and Trina) Until Kevin can find a job and we know what we are going to do!! We are so grateful to them for opening their home to our family! They are the Best!!!

Cars

My mom made Cahlin some cars pillow cases and he was sooo excited about them. About every five minutes he comes up to me and says " Mom, come here, let me show you my cars pillow!" He requested that I take a picture of Eyan and himself with his pillow. I thought it was cute so I thought I would share it with you.

Fishing

My mom and I decided that Cahlin needed to go fishing! There is not much to do in St. Anthony so we decided what the heck!? He was pretty excited when we first got there. He held the pole for about 5 seconds and had no interest in touching it again. Instead he decided that it would be fun to fish out the big rocks in the river and throw those around. But, the good news is that I got to fish for the first time in my life! Pretty sad I know. It was pretty fun I got bored and disappointed that after about 10 minutes I hadn't caught anything. I guess I just don't have the patience to fish! To bad! :)

Rexburg Fair

On Thursday my cousins were showing some sheep in the fair and so we decided that we would pack up and go to the fair grounds! We had such a fun time seeing all the animals! I haven't been to a fair in such a long time.Cahlin was so excited about the sheep that he had to go down and walk one for himself. He also had to feed every animal some straw! They didn't get very excited about that. He also HAD to climb the fences and jump off the hay stacks! What a boy!

Buds

Lately Cahlin has been really excited about Eyan. There for a long while he didn't really have anything to do with him. The past few weeks he has been singing to him and trying to make him laugh. He is always wanting to hold him too. Yesterday they got to wrestle for the first time. I would just lay Eyan on top of Cahlin and he would try to get up. It was pretty cute. Tonight we were in the car and Eyan was crying. Cahlin sat there and said " Calm down Eyan" for like 15 minutes. He is such a great brother! I am so excited to see them in the future!

Trees

Kevin's parents plant a tree in their yard every time one of their kids have a baby. This was the first time that we got to see Eyan's tree and Cahlin is now taller than his! That probably won't last for long though! It's so sweet that his parents have such a cute tradition! We are so blessed to have them in our lives! We love you Grandma and Grandpa Jones!
Eyan's little tree. His plaque hasn't been put up yet but it will be soon.

I love these cute little plaques that they have!

Cereal

I have been wanting to start Eyan on solids but Kevin wanted to be here to feed him. So I was sad that I still had 2 weeks left before I could start him on solids. But since my husband surprised me and came home we got to feed our baby food! Here is a video of Eyan trying to figure it out!

Cousins

This weekend was the first time that Eyan got to be with his 2 cousins that are his age! Jacob and Sienna! They were all so cute and it's amazing how 2 months age difference can make! Cahlin also got to be with all of his boy cousins! He had such a great time! I could hardly pull him away from all of the fun!
All the boy cousins! Jacob, Caloway, Cahlin, Kennin, Bridger, Eyan.
All three babies! All of them were so happy! It was a miracle!
Eyan on his blanket that Grandma Jones made for him! We love our Grandma so much and she always makes the best blankets! Thanks Grandma!

Jones Weekend

This weekend we have been up in Bozeman Montana. We have been having a great time. It has been so much fun to see Cahlin play with his cousins. It has also been fun for Eyan to be with his cousins that are his same age too! Kevin's Grandparents from Washington were able to come down too. It was so great for them to see Cahlin again and to meet Eyan. Cahlin had such a good time jumping on the tramp. He has gotten so much better in the short time that we have been here.
Kevin's family kept on rubbing in that my husband was not with us. I was starting to have a really hard time. I wasn't being very patient with Cahlin and my nerves were just shot! Saturday afternoon I was taking a nap in the camper with the boys and people kept hitting the camper with balls and making noise so my patience was just about up! When all of a sudden someone opens the door! I was so mad I was about to yell at whoever was about to wake up my kids. As I looked over I realized that that someone was Kevin!!!
He and his family had surprised me and bought Kevin a plane ticket to come out for the weekend! I hadn't realized how much I really missed him. I just held on to him and cried! Needless to say the weekend had a much better outlook for me! Even though Kevin has to go back to New Jersey in the morning I am so glad that we got to be with him! We only have 2 weeks left!

Splash Park

Yesterday while I was getting my hair cut my Mom and Carmen took the boys over to the Splash Park in Rexburg. I guess Cahlin had a great time playing in the water and he insisted that Aunt Carmen get wet with him!

Short Hair

So I decided this week that I wanted to cut my hair. I was just going to cut it but then my mom told me to go to the Beauty College and it was only $25 to get a cut and color! Can't get any better than that! So here are some pictures of my new self!
Brittney with nasty dead and dry hair! After the stylist washed it I had to brush it out because she was so afraid she was going to hurt me because it was so tangled!

The new and improved Brittney! I was lucky I did this with Kevin gone because he is always against me cuting my hair! I am really happy with the way it turned out!

~Breaking Dawn~

It has finally arrived! I have been waiting for this book to come out since last October! My sister Heather and I went to the Midnight release party at Barnes and Noble the night before it came out. We had a great time getting our face painted and talking with other fans. I am proud to say that my addiction to Twilight could be a lot worse and I am really not as pathetic as I thought I was! There were some very crazy people there. One girl. actually had an IV and a hospital gown on to act out when Bella is in the hospital at the end of Twilight! I just wore my normal clothes!
I finished the book last night at about 12:30 am. I am pleased to say that I LOVED the book! It was amazing! Stephenie finished everything off perfectly! I couldn't have asked for it to be better! All though I must say I am sad that it is the end. I think I could read about Edward and Bella's story for at least a couple more books. Breaking Dawn is easily my favorite in the Series. If you have yet to read it I hope that you are pleased! I give it two thumbs up!!

Warm River

Every Summer my Dad's family takes a camping trip up to Warm River. ( About 15 minutes outside of Ashton.) It is such a fun place to go camping. The river is never very deep and the current isn't very strong so it is great for floating! Cahlin and I had a great time floating down the river. He was very excited to always be in the water. He first day I could hardly keep him out! He also was very excited about the HUGE sticks that he kept on finding. The camp site was at the base of a mountain so he kept on insisting that he climb it. Of course all most every time he did he would fall and hurt himself.
I had a great time I actually got a little sun! Woohoo! Yes, I hung out at the pool with Cahlin in New Jersey and I came back to Idaho pasty white. It is very sad. I also enjoyed donating my blood to the cause of Mesquitos. They very much enjoy my blood. I guess it's just because I am so sweet!:)
